Following last years unexpected enthusiasm for Banger Racing - I've been itching to get back.
2pm Sunday, 28 June The Chick Woodroffe Memorial Meeting for Group A Hot-Rods, Lightning Rods, 1300 Stock Cars, and Outlaw Hot-Rods plus ****** 1400cc BANGERS FOUR MAN TEAM TORNAMENT ********
Any ideas how the 4 Man Teams work - I'm guessing that they aren't chained?

Hi Adam, Any idea on costs £12 gets you in, they sell beer too - could be just what you are looking for
Next weekend also looks good (possibly better) - chained pairs.

Unlikely that I'd get to this one but caravan racing has to be gold dust

I use to race bangers and hot rods here in the 80’s Chick Woodroffe was the owner at the time
I think you will find the four man team will be four cars and something like six teams, but not chained together
The best action in bangers I always thought was just two teams, or PRI versus Spedeworth (if that still happens)

These are great days out. Even the OH loves it and she's pretty 'meh' about cars in general. It gos without saying that the kids are always keen and usually have a waiting list of friends who want to come along too.
My next foray will the annual Spede Weekend at Ipswich on the 4th and 5th July.

I've just worked out what you mean by 'PRI vs Spedeworth'.
i.e. the Arena Essex boys versus the Ipswich crew - Yes I can understand why that would be lively
