Something i heard when i was out with a few of you a while ago. (leading on from the topic "a drive out one night soon"

This could be the south Kent club, as there are good roads this way with light traffic

So lets see if we cannot get things going again. Its quiet busy for people going away at the moment but lets throw some dates about to see if we can organise something.

I believe Red devil is our man in the know. So over to you lot.

Bring it on, Ginger Wizard. driving

The evenings are even longer now than the time of our previous run. thumbup

Once again, a weekend evening would be best regarding both people's work commitments, and the lower traffic volumes compared to a weekday.

Another option could be a Blue Club Dawn Hoon, meeting around 5am on a weekend day (its plenty light enough) to sample totally deserted roads.

Weekend dates i'm available:

Sat 6th June
Sat 20th June
Sun 21st June

Justin i am all for that (both suggestions!) The Sun is up at 4:40hrs at the moment. I just flew back from turkey and travelled from Sandwich to Folkestone at 05:00hrs (via the super special stage that is the Alkham Vally!!!) and did it in under 20 min..... It normally takes me between 35-45min... wink

I will have to look at my Diary this afternoon as i left it at home, and i have just found 23 Iraq's under a lorry, so a bit busy...... Bloody Immigrants! Sneeky like Russians i tell thee!

Maidstone Services would be a better meet point than the pub car park in Hollingbourne at any time IMO. The latter was very bumpy for those cars running low ride heights.

Plus you're straight into NSL upon leaving the Services.

Fire spitting? Its getting worse. Was giving it large on a dual-carriageway section of the A6 near Bedford in the middle of the night last Saturday (circa 1.2 leptons). Lifted off on the approach to a fast roundabout and saw the flames in the offside wing mirror. Several feet long, lasted a good eight seconds. She's running far too rich. Hoping to get away without buying an expensive Emerald ECU as I suspect a possible faulty air intake sensor (running temperature is a little low). Trip to Sinclaire Motorsport next week anyhow.

Regarding names, the Thames Valley / Surrey PH have the SAS, us Kent lot can have the cryptic sounding Blue Club. Sounds like some dodgy adult movie production setup. laugh

Boils down to a choice of:

Sat 20th June early evening (assuming Andy can make the start for say 6.30-7pm)
Sun 21st June very early morning
Sun 21st June early evening

Those days are fine with me too. Going to get some new pads on the front me thinks in the mean time. So we have got flames from the elise, the fezza with a surprising turn of speed and sicking cornering speeds... I'm going to have to start going badger hunting or something, nail it to my bonnet. That might add the extra "pip" i'm missing...

As for the name "Blue Club" i'm not sure how it originated it was just something i heard at the last meet. I think its going to stick quiet nicely though.

Right i'm off to get me a badger boys!

Seems a Dawn Hoon on Sunday 21st June is most popular choice. I'm happy with that. Then maybe we could have another evening hoon sometime in July. smile
Sunrise is 0437 on the 21st of June. 0430 sharp departure too early for anybody? Worth it in my book for those lovely empty roads. driving

Maidstone Services is a good start point IMO, pretty central for most to get to.
