What are they building at the junction of the A127/M25?

It's to the left of you as you are travelling up the on-slip to get on to the clockwise M25.

Surely not another retail park? Or something to do with the Olympics?

Sorry B16JUS, it's a lot bigger than that.

If it's the same as the one at the bottom of the M11 before the North Circ then it's some form of storage/lorry compound for the Olympics

It seems to be a full-on industrial unit as opposed to a stop-off point for the Olympics. They're installing traffic lights at the roundabout and whatever it's producing, it's main hours of production seem to be through the night..as it's bloomin' noisy throughout the night! I was talking to someone about it today and neither of us have seen anything in the local gazette regarding it.

It's a compound for the ConnectPlus consortium of Atkins, Balfour Beatty, Egis Projects and Skanska. They won a contract to maintain the M25, and widen it to a fourth lane between junctions 16 and 23, as well as between 27 and 30, which is why they put the compound on J29. I hope the traffic lights don't make it a nightmare coming off the 127 to get onto the 25.
