A249 Detling

There's some poles going up, hope they aren't what i think they are.

Some poles have gone up on bluebell as well. Both ways top and bottom and by the on slip half way up. They don't look like traditional spec poles so let's hope they're not

Was going to mention that I have seen some poles in the three squirrels on the A249 - but probably not very appropriate!

I saw these the other day too, they actually look like the new MS4 VMS message signs to me, the sort that are on the M23 and M3 at the moment...

I think the only reason they're on the A249 is the importance of that route for truckers wanting to get to Ramsgate etc from the South West.

When I first saw them I thought "SPECS" (well, actually I thought "FFS"), but then I noticed that they span the 50/NSL limits so they probably wouldn't be.

Me neither....

I had wondered what they are, but looking at them, they really dont look like specs poles, far too ornate, that wouldn't help maximise profits, sorry i mean prosecute baby killers, would it!

I shall keep my eyes peeled and see how they get on, can make some reasonable progress along their without being a pleb

I think they are to small to be MS4 VMS, but could be wrong.

They have got two bullet like cameras on them with i think an aerial.
