I'm just over the hill in Dover, could be up for a run out sometime. Not wanting to cane the life out of the car though as I'm still learning it's handling traits after coming from AWD..!!

alright fella. I had a look at your profile and i was just wondering, do you work in the port near a set of cats claws?

Yeah i'm not up for road racing, i'm still learning my car with this finer weather. I would be up for a drive down to rye or something, bag of chips and a real ale......? (how that makes me sound i dont know!)

In fact i would be up for a meet any where, trying to find motoring people is a bit dfficult around these parts, espically as i'm in the "people catching industry" wink and work shifts....

What do you suggest?

Take a look at the thread below this one in the Kent & Essex forum, there's likely to be a run this coming Sunday. Are you off work then?

I live the other side of the county to yourself (Nr.Dartford) but always up for meeting fellow petrolheads. If there's a few meeting around Folkestone, i'd drive down to meet you guys work permitting (another shiftworker here frown )

There's a very good chippie in Rye, have stopped for bags of chips there myself before. Ale? Terrific pub, The Red Lion in Snargate is not far from Rye and has a decent sized car park. NOBODY likes beer more than I. smile

Oh, and I owned an EP3 for nearly three years myself. Magnificant engine / gearbox combination.

My apologies for the late reply GW, I'm sure you'll understand being a fellow nocturnal person..!! I do work near the cat's claws, but they need 40T versions over my side..lol!! Whereabouts are you then?

Rye, anywhere, it's all good by me. You're right about the shift working, industry and lack of car people in these parts, nice to see someone nearby. Must dash, it's a busy week for me..lol!!

yeah buddy I reckon we convoy it up there, if you come off the juction straight after the tunnels at folkestone, go straight over the round about and take a right at the traffic lights, go right again immediatley and i will be parked in the ABC carwash area. (you can see it when at the traffic lights) I will be there from 17:20hrs. The satnav tells me its a 31 min journey to the meeting area. That cool buddy?
