Banger racing in Kent?

Hi there, I was looking for somewhere to go and watch banger racing in Kent. I thought it might a laugh.....is there anywhere? Someone mentioned Dover but I can't seem to find it on the internet. OK I know it's frowned upon but I always loved it as a kid and now I wanted to take my kids. Thanks James

I know it's not Kent but it's just across the water into Essex.

I went last year to the Arena and loved it.
I thought it was frowned upon too but I made a post on this forum and the response was 100% positive. I've promised my daughter that we will go again shortly.

Hi

There is a Banger track in the Valley past Buckland Hospital, through the idustrial estate. Their is a tiny little lane that takes you into the middle of nowhere.... I am not sure what is called though????

I think there is a place in Dover, or at least there used to be. I'm struggling to think of the name of the place, do you know the area at all? If so you turn left at Buckland hospital towards an industrial estate and it's along there somewhere. The name will come to me I'm sure.

Theres also another place in Westerham and if your tunbridge side of kent another place down in East Sussex/Hailsham

That's right next to where I go shooting. Sometimes sit on the hill overlooking that if there aren't many rabbits about.

I've just spent ages trying to find a Westerham Oval, I've found some references to it but can't find the address?

They used to do banger racing at Layhams Farm near Coney Hall/New Addington. Not sure if they still do though.

Having abit of difficulty myself too finding that one out, found a telephone number and a website but im confused as to whether its an outside website or club about it or an actual circuit.
