Dartford crossing

Anybody got any ideas why the traffic coming up to the tunnel (i.e. anti-clockwise) was so dreadful last night? Listened to the travel news but they just said the traffic was heavy but no clues as to why. The traffic for the past few weeks has been pretty good so the fact that it was so bad last night is a little odd. Looking at the AA website it is looking bad again tonight.

It can be like that 2 or 3 times a week. You have only got to have a couple of idiots that havn't realised it is £1.50 and not a £1 and it soon backs up....
