****** Essex PH Meet Thurs 19th March *****
Discussion
Its that time again so do come along to the Lodge at South Woodham Ferrers and meet a few like minded car enthusiasts. We get quite a variety of cars with a few exotics now and again and as the evenings begin to get lighter we get a good turn out.
There is good quality economically priced food and plenty of parking space. The link below provides directions. There are generally folks there from about 7:00pm.

Fullbridge got the car through the MOT on Friday, picking it up tomorrow morning - so the old girl will be there on the 19th.
With the garage freed up I did a minor service on the Rover last night.
Spark plug number 4 was dripping in oil... Piston Rings gone? Valve guide gone?
Either way not good.
It's running OK despite this - any ideas how long it will last and what is likely to happen?
I guess the oil is being diluted with petrol... the plug will not spark after a while... oil is being burnt with the petrol...

4) JRM Rossi (normal walnuts)
The Saab has an increasingly worrying gearbox noise, and is soon to be in need of an MOT, so not sure what i'll be there in. But as the nights are getting slightly longer, i'll try and be there in something.

Two's company, three's a crowd
I need to put some miles on a brand new Sachs Race Engineering clutch.
Forecast might be mild and dry for this evening. Bit of cloud cover to reduce likelihood of night frost.
Any takers for a little "night run" maybe ???
