There's also a swap meet going on at Essex Arena this sunday morn so you could both if you fancy as the Halfway house is only a few mins from the Arena.

depends on the weather as to how many bods turn up but there's normaly always quite a few.In summer we've had up to 16 cobras turn up and a few mustangs and vettes, even during last months snow storms there were still 3 TVR, a cob and a maseratti and lots of bods in their normal tin tops.
funny ol weekend this one with the swap meet going on just down the road, not sure if it will mean more people turning up for the meet or less.
all i can say is lets hope for nice weather and see who pops along.

I'll try and head over again, since the snow storm meet I've had a sports exhaust mod on the TVR.

Alex, seem to remember your chim was fairly loud compared to mine anyway, has the exhaust note changed much and more to the point do you like it. is it the sleeved straight though pipe mod you've had done, i fancy having that done but wanted to hear one in the flesh first. looks like i'll be bringing the wifes MX5 as me cars at the painters and their soddin me about a bit, may get it back sat eve but not looking likely at the mo

Not entirely sure what Fernhurst did, pretty sure it is the sleeved mod though. Fernhurst charged £250+VAT. It is considerably louder and pops and bangs all the time on the overrun and yes I'm very pleased.

Nice to meet a few of you today.
Sorry for the ass like driving as I left. People watching me just seems to flick a switch in my small brain frown

Alex, hope you don't have anymore fluid under your car.

Roll on the summer!

I would have done the same but my oil temp was really low and didn't fancy ragging it from cold.

I'm monitoring the pool of liquid and will get Castle Lotus/TVR to have a look when they fix the speedo which now only registers above 95 leptons

Left mine ticking over for 5 before I left so wasn't too cold. Wasn't there long enough to cool right off either evil

I'm sure your speedo will be the sensor. May just need the gap adjusting.
When is it being looked at?

The next Halfway House meets on Sunday April 5th.
We're also doing a scenic run out from the Halfway house to Hallmark cars new premises (Hainault)on Sat 14th March, your all welcome to join in if you want (should be some free Tea & coffee provided at journeys end). I'll post details of the run out on a seperate thread soon.

Alex didn't mean to leave you out m8, your Chim also sounded very sweet with it's new pipes smile

Spoke to Fernhurst, they suggested a new sensor which is £57+VAT plus an hour labour. Rang Castle Lotus/TVR who told me the sensor is £100+VAT until I mentioned Fernhurst's price so is booked in on Saturday to be looked at next Tues.

I hope I didn't offend when I asked whether his Cobra was a pinto
