On the way out of Clacton at the weekend a very suspicious looking van was parked in one of the laybys. It had rear facing (s)cameras, but was marked up as Essex County Council 'Highway Maintenance'. I knew it looked iffy and said to the wife why do EC need camera vans for highways maintenance, and low and behold a mile up the road an unmarked Vectra had pulled someone over.
Watch out!

It was on the A127 yesterday lunchtime Southend bound near the A128 junction, same sign on the back of the van parked in a layby between two Artic's, marked traff pol cruising ahead in an ST220 who pulled into the Halfway House pub.Watch out!
