As mentioned in the other thread, what do people think of changing the location of the meets once in a while?

The Lodge has a good carpark and cheap food, but it would be nice to visit a few places - and try something different (and try some different roads on the way!)

It's pretty dark and miserable for the next few meets through the winter, maybe change them to a weekend so more people can (or want) to attend?

Just an idea anyway!

Sounds good to me Matt.

We did have a meet at Brands Hatch once this year and I thought it was excellent so it would be good to do that once or twice next year.

I have also been thinking of getting together with the PH East Anglia bunch. They meet around the Ipswitch area on a Sunday Lunch. I will contact them and see if we can sort something out. I am thinking about the spring for this though (weatherconfused ). It would give us a decent drive out as well.

Hopefully we could also support the proposed new Kent meet now and again.

Ken

It's in Chelmsford, up from the Boreham Interchange heading towards the Army & navy, near the Audi dealer.

That's very closeby for me too.

Drive past it on a regular base but never been in there. Carpark doesn't seem that big though.

Don't worry, the latecomers could use the overflow carpark aka Asda biggrin

Me too.

Is the Chelmer Tavern the one off left at the roundabout if you're coming from the north? It's a bit 'council' from what I remember.
