Have moved on from the carpentry request this time I need an electrician to check my house over.

Ever since we had the kitchen done, something doesn't seem quite right as the bulbs blow far too regularly, as does the trip switch (trip I mean, not blow). I've lost count of the number of fuses in the fusebox we have gone through and I can't have the electric shower in the kids bathroom on at all as it seems to plunge the house in darkness! rolleyes

I'm near Southend if anyone has any recommendations for someone who is a)competent and b)isn't going to suck air in through his teeth and tell me 'It's not the parts mate, it's the labour that's gonna cost you'.

Always use Masons.
Not the cheapest in town but they are not slack workers for the money.

Hi Chris

Have you sorted this yet? Only spoke to you this week but perhaps you have forgotten what I do for a job!!

Bloody Hell Dave! Are you stalking me or something? biggrin

It's true, I had forgotten that is what you do - after all, we only met the once in that car park, remember? biggrin

I think I'm sorted now (just awaiting a return phone call) but if anything changes I will give you a shout thumbup
