Southbound just beyond the Aylesham junction, (Wick lane?)
Not seen one here before.
We'll just have to see what the postman brings...
Not familiar with that section of the A2. Can you give more location detail. Not seen one here before.

Are there SCAMERA signs to give a clue that the sneaky barstweards are likely to be around?
Fingers crossed for you. Might have been ANPR....maybe.
Hi
Have seen them parked in 3 different places on the A2
1 - On bridges between Sittingboune and Faversham.
2 - On coast bound side just before Canterbury turning, just as you come over the sweeping hill down towards the services, it sits in a laybay just before the services catching people as they come over the browl of the hill.
3 - and the 3rd location as mentioned above, after Canterbury just as you go past Barham. Am i right in thing there is a big biker garage/ cafe near there???
Although i have been past all these vans to fast i have never had anything come through.... Perhaps i am one of the lucky ones....

2. I've seen that one as well, but do get warned as it is in the GPSPocketworld camera database that I use.
3. Haven't seen one there, and I don't remember ever getting any warnings about the possibility of a mobile camera site, so that's one to look out for.

Spotted the scamera van on the NEW section of the A2 that runs by the old Tollgate. He was on the coast bound side in the average speed sectin at 730 the other morning.
Wife has also seen one a lot recently on the A2 coast bound between the underpass and the first speedcamera at the Sidcup exit

I spotted that camera van by the Canterbury turn off 2 weeks back. I was behind 2 lorries travelling at about 60, I was doing just under 70. I put the hoof down to overtake (got a Noble and it happens kind of quickly) as I passed I'd hit 80+ and straight in front was the van on the verge. Stamped on the anchors quickly. I'm told if nothing arrives in the post after 2 weeks they can't nick you.
Trouble is, its easy to exceed the limit as you pass someone, even with every intention of dropping back to 70 and the Kent Constabulary must make a packet from it as its nose to tail lorries on M20 and M2! Its a no hoper, think I'll buy a lorry!

Sorry to hear you are going to be done .. really a set of circumstances ... this is why I know some people have a jammer ... It is also a good idea to use the pocketworldGPS camera DB, as it has most of the laser spots ... so never ever overtake if you are stuck behind a lorry .. ride out the distance and then you know you are clear. Just to say, not all laser sites are danger spots .. they are just good places to catch people ... Ther has been a van in the layby on the A2 in Faversham outside the school, which is about halfway between the two Gatsos, only seen it in the mornings when the traffic through there never gets above 25mph. Seems abit pointless have 3 camers there in less than 1 mile.
That'll most probably be an ANPR van then, they're a right dodgy lot up in Favers! As you say, pointless to have three speed cameras that close together.
