Chose to drag the 308 out of the garage and drive up to the City this morning for some wretched IT testing.
I came past a coach approaching Charlie Browns roundabout and went straight over a folded piece of pressed steel - which looked to have been about 12" high. Unfortunately the front of the 308 ain't that high.

I now have a heap of gouges in the lower front spoiler and some chunks out of the top leading edge of the spoiler. Fortunately only the Fibre Glass appears to have suffered - the front number plate took a lot of the impact.

Can anyone recommend a local repairer? It shouldn't be a huge job. Fullbridge did a great job on the spoiler when I misjudged a kerb a few years back but is there a more local shop?

http://www.brewstermotors.co.uk/ are just up the road, and they've put many Nobles back together and bits of Ford GTs (not mine for once!). Have a chat with Gary. Highly recommended. The website looks a bit chavvy, but they're not! He should really sort that out really...

Very wise - The Lodge has its own unique (read that as crap) weather system.

I can recommend the Fullbridge Restoration Company in Maldon, tel 01621 852320.
Have had various bits of work done there over the years, including a fibreglass repair on a TVR. They also work on a lot of Ferraris.

Fully agree. Fullbridge have looked after my car for 10 years and repaired the spoiler before (see my original post). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
As I recall the actual fibre glass repair they sub'd out to a specialist.

Sorry Andy...didn't read your original post properly. rolleyes
Didn't realise that Fullbridge sub'd out their f'glass work. Whoever it was did a really god job anyway.

It must be worth a visit just to see what they've got in the workshop at the moment....an interesting selection guaranteed everytime!

Good luck with the repair.

Thanks...
Whenever I go to Fullbridge, I try to allow an extra half hour to look at what they have. From a 1920's Le Mans winning Bentley to two (of 5 built) Argento Aviva's they always have some serious kit - testimony to the quality of the work carried out.
