Chelmer Valley Car Club Meet - The Lodge 26th June

I've seen this monthly(?) meet in the pages of Classic and Sportscar Magazines before - anyone here been?

It's one week after our beloved Essex Meet and with the long evening and fine weather is it worth popping in?

It starts at 8pm and from the little I can glean from the interweb it welcomes all cars.

Note the subtle mistake - I have put the date as 26th May...

It should be 26th June. So you're both wrong/right.



Is there a mod out there who can correct the date in the title?

This is also the monthly meet for the South East Essex Area Centre of Hillman Imp Owners Club, so more likely than not, you shall see me down there!

Hi Matt - I was going until about 8am this morning when it was found that Mrs 308GTB was having her barnet done on Thursday evening.
The only alternative date that she could do was Sunday - which would mean me binning the Autoglym Historic Festival at Brands.

So I opted for a day at Brands Hatch but things change. I may make a late blast up to the Lodge if she get home before 9pm as I'm interested in seeing how big a meeting it is. I'll keep you posted on my plans

Thursday evening is now good for me but I am currently under the weather.
Possibly Appendicitus but lots of other options according to the Doc - I'm off now to consult the interweb to see if I'll make it through to Thursday

bonus is that don't need to be there till 7:30 - 8:00 so time to bleed the brakes and add a few more of the graphics
