After 25 years without a single conviction today i have lost my cherry what a way to go any one no how longer ban i am likely to get and how much the fine will be??
Paul
Ouch....If you are going to get done for speeding you mights as well get done in style. Plead insanity, learn to grovel, buy a suit and tie, tell them god made you do it!Paul
With a 25 year clean licence, I cant see you getting much more than about 3-6 week ban & few hundred pound fine. If you can live with this, just plead guilty, be nice, and try to say something credible about the circumstances.
Although you have an endorsement on your licence, you will have no points.

Clean license, 133mph on A414 dual back in 1997, 6 weeks...........inside and a year ban plus re-take test.
They changed the charge from speeding to dangerous driving. Hope they never mention dangerous driving and you'll be ok.
This is not meant to worry Paul but I think it depends on the judge on the day!

No I sold the Cerb nearly two years ago! Had a Griff for just over a year now. God it's so much cheaper to run!!!
As said, don't panic unless they say the words "dangerous driving".

Dave do you let the Mrs drive the Griff??
What a nightmare only had my new Subaru about 2 months and transfered my origin B2 into it only for it to go wrong the thursday before i got caught, no ones fault but my own, you fancy trying another VMax as me and Tony (Lotus Esprit) and Gary H (fastest cerb in the west) might have another go Thats if Garys car ever gets on the road (used to own the yellow T350) i will get some stick for that comment i am sure.

Yeah, Melinda drives the Griff, infact it's in her name!
It's getting on a bit so I'm not sure how it will stand up to a vmax but.....Brother-in-law has just bought a Ferrari 348 and he wants to do one. I may tag along with him.
I still have the video of Melinda taking Tony for a run in the Cerb - vmax8 I think.
