Please, somebody tell me of a decent garage in the area? Wife is fed up of being stuffed by crappy main dealers on a 7 year old car. It's just a Corsa, please tell me how they manage to charge 400 quid for a service

I nearly talked her into letting me have a go at it this year, I think she will beg me next year...

Try Westmoreland Garage in Southlands Road, just around the corner from me in Bickley.

They used to service the wifes car, & are very TVR friendly come MOT time - nice people.

Delacourt motors in Blackheath, right on the sun in sands roundabout. Don't be put off by the appearance of the place, they are top lads. I know so many people that use the place and never heard one bad report, they even sorted out a problem on my company car that Vauxhall could get nowhere near to resolving whilst it was under warranty. Mechanics of the old school!

Clubsport, without wanting to name & shame I've heard mixed reports about Orpington Saab. The other Saab place near me is Cromwell. I have used them for a couple of small jobs but I found them very unfriendly (one bloke in particular) and their prices weren't that keen.

I always use West Midlands Saab in Erdington for the Saab, honest as the day is long and good prices. Quite happy to do the 300 mile round trip
