Hi everyone,

I own a 2015 Audi S5 (CREC engine) and have been experiencing blue smoke on cold starts, which disappears once the engine is warmed up and running normally. The car runs perfectly fine otherwise, but I'm also noticing slow oil loss. After some research, I suspect the valve stem oil seals might need replacing, as the oil could be dripping into the cylinders overnight.

I’ve also heard the PCV could be a potential issue, but I’ve scanned the car using VCDS and there are no errors related to it.

Has anyone experienced similar symptoms and could recommend a reliable garage in the Kent or Essex area that’s familiar with Audi repairs, specifically valve stem oil seals?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

There's a VW Audi specialist in central Chelmsford - VWAuditec.

Can't provide any recommendation as I've never used them, but they've been in the city for a while.

I use 4 rings in Dartford . Dean is very knowledgeable and won't rip you off . I've used them for many years on various TT's .Got a 2.9l RS4 now which I hope he will look after(he doesn't know it yet!)
