Hey Darren, just had a flick through your website and there are some very nice shots in there! I was going to suggest the Dartford Crossing as I live right by where a lot of people go to shoot and I've seen a lot of content from there but I see you've already got it on your list smile

As I live so close to it if you ever want a car to shoot down there I'd be happy to help. Nothing quite as exotic as some of your show content I'm afraid.

I recently arranged to use this place near Dover. I was having my Defender pictured for a feature in Land Rover Monthly magazine. They asked me if I could find somewhere interesting and this came up. A bit different to the usual Dover castle shots.
The magazine is out now if you want to see the results.

Try Offham village if you're looking for a "kentish countryside" type of vibe. Collecting cars use it for their photoshoots around here.

The Tilbury passenger ferry has a very industrial beam bridge on its entrance that we used to use for magazine shoots, it's single file traffic but fairly quiet so it used to be a case of positioning the car and the driver ducks down behind the dashboard.

Opposite the moat pub in Wrotham where the rs owners used to hold their club meet is a country lane that goes under the M20, the bridge has no lights under it so we used to do that long exposure run around behind the car with a strip light and sparklers thing at night there.

Used to be able to sneak around the back of the Hanson's cement plant in Thurrock under the bridge but I think they do security patrols now .

Was interested to see if I could find any photos from back in the day to try and remember the locations, all I can find that is definitive is the Tilbury ferry bridge..

Locations I have used for pics: all within easy reach from Sevenoaks.

Viaducts make nice backdrops.
South Darenth - https://maps.app.goo.gl/wTnfvZeasB65SBs79
Eynsford - https://maps.app.goo.gl/CsYMRAresPdaXfib7

The first is basically a one-and-done shot though.

Castles.
Lullingstone Gatehouse - https://maps.app.goo.gl/qoGpaUxVxRcpHydD7
Chiddingstone - https://maps.app.goo.gl/RQTo2iTxtv7kzsip8

Lullingstone is only a little over half a mile beyond Eynsford Viaduct .
Chiddingstone doesn't charge for parking but its polite to make a contribution to the honesty box.

Chevening village - https://maps.app.goo.gl/YhW5XNPJj1GDk6pz5
Stubbs Wood Car Park - https://maps.app.goo.gl/MQAFgKwgVq5iUiwUA

I'm looking together some shots of my 1970 MGB to Lullingstone now, thanks!

Does anyone got anymore Kent/SE London location recommendations?

Darren, I love the shots of the Karmann Ghia would you share the location ?
Feel free to pm me if you want to keep it quiet.

That truck is fantastic.

I don't particularly like trucks...I don't need a truck...but something like that would be in my lottery win garage smile

Is there a name for that style?
