That's what I would suggest - £12.50 for parking. Just be aware of the vast amount of construction around the area and you might have to do a loop to get to the car park

Or Abbey Wood and the Lizzie line. They recently opened a new car park by the station, it's quite big and probably cheaper/easier than the O2.
