Any Southend local historians here?

I've seen "Superstar" doing powerboat trips over the years, but it was out of Looe harbor in South Cornwall.
As a long time resident of Southend I remember seeing "Charger" doing the same trips from the small wooden jetty just to the East of the pier back in the day - but not a boat named Superstar unfortunately.

I thought someone would say that. The Superstar in Looe is a Gerald Pearn boat.As a long time resident of Southend I remember seeing "Charger" doing the same trips from the small wooden jetty just to the East of the pier back in the day - but not a boat named Superstar unfortunately.
