As above.

I've previously posed a similar question in General Gassing but didn't really get much of a response

I want to store one of my cars for about a year. Trying to do some due diligence on storage companies is difficult as it's, understandably, quite a secreative industry.

Has anyone on here got any recommendations.

TIA

I can recommend two for you:

First is Auto Inn out in the back and beyond of Paglesham/Canewdon

https://www.autoinn.co.uk/

You'll need to speak to the owner (Mark Koppen) for directions if he has spaces available. I had a spot here when I had two cars and he looked after each of them perfectly for me. He offers a monthly start up and run around service where on the first dry day of the month he starts your car and drives it slowly around the facility (all on concrete) to allow fluids to be warmed up fully. Cars are kept on an Accumate for a small extra fee, or even in a cocoon if you would like that.

The second is The Elms Collection, in the countryside of mid Essex

https://www.elmscollection.com/storage

Speak to Dion Speak the MD for directions if he has spaces available. I have never been to Dion's facility but he brings some rather nice cars to our regular Essex meets and has looked after a few of our group with car purchases and storage before now with only good words from them.

Thanks Gents,

I shall give them a try.

I emailed a place near Chelmsford posing a couple of (simple) questions via their website. I've never received a reply. I'm amazed that Companies can't be bothered to respond rolleyes

Dion is a true gent I have stored my Aston with him a few times over the years and earlier this year I sold the car to him.
