Hi all, hoping to get some tips on driving roads in Essex and into Suffolk. I have been driving the same roads for the last 3 years and am rather ‘over it’!

What other roads are there in the area? Starting point is around the A13 in London.

Car is relatively wide and running KW Clubsports, so (relatively) smooth surfaces are a must and single lane tracks to be avoided.

Thanks!

Finding them for yourself is all part of the fun wink

But as a pointer to the general areas, have mooch round the Dengie area (South Woodham to Burnham, and round to Maldon). And in the north, the roads north of the A120 from Harwich over to Dedham will take you into Suffolk.

Thought I’d give this a bump as I’ve been driving pretty much exactly the OPs first route.

Ventured out across Dedham vale the other in search of new routes but the lanes around there are quite tight.

It's only a half an hour stretch, but the road out from Maldon/Heybridge to south Colchester via Abberton reservoir is a nice drive on a summer evening
