Southend Sea Font parking
Discussion
Evening.
Just a heads up. I parked down the front on Saturday where 09.00-18.00 are the payment hours.
it was 17.45 and I thought about chance-ing what was a little less than 15mins.
My advice is don't, they must have watched me on CCTV walking away and called in the brigade.
My mistake entirely and I take full responsibility just a heads up. Easy £25 for Southend council I guess. (it was £50 but you get the bargain price if paid early) They did take some nice pictures of my Elise though. One tip for the parking enforcer. If you bend down lower it shows the lines off a bit better.
Cheers MP

That's the rapacious UK tourism industry for you though.
It cost more per hour to park in a shabby seaside resort - I'm looking at you bloody Wells in Norfolk - that it does to park in an air conditioned underground car park with manned security right in the city centre of Madrid.
You pay on exit in Madrid and are charged by the minute too - last time it was 1C/min and every machine worked and issued change or took a card - so you can stay as long as you wish with no possibility of getting stiffed for a fine or penalty charge from Parking Parasites either.
Can you just imagine that in London?
