supercar experience days near Essex

Son has been given a supercar experience day and the closest one to him is Carver Barracks in Saffron Walden - obviously he wants to have a decent experience soooo does anyone have any knowledge of this place (good or bad) or, indeed, any other experience day type of track in/near Essex that they can recommend?

I did an off road day at Carver some years back and took a sneaky 'drive' around the airfield perimeter in my ST.

It's a big facility and from what I could determine of the road on which I assume the experience will be run was fast and sufficiently dynamic to make for a good drive. I enjoyed my hamfisted tour ;-) Bags of room if you get it wrong.

The only other location in Essex that runs these sorts of events that I know of is North Weald. Last time I was there - which was some time ago - the road was so rough it made the county's public roads like those in Dubai.

Brands hatch does a rally experience where you get to rip a gt86 around a track for 40 mins, always thought that sounded a good deal over the couple of laps you get to do in supercars
