Alloy wheel refurbishment in Kent (east)

Thought I'd mention http://www.powdercoating.express/wheels/ in Sttingbourne (Kent).
Just had my Boxster wheels refurbed there and they did a lovely job at a good price.
Used to go to Lepsons in Gillingham but they are expensive and last time I went the job was not so good.

Thanks for that vantager. £40 is reasonable and similar to many mobile refurbers who only do the face of the wheel.

I agree about Lepsons. For normal alloys they've gone mental on pricing - £70 +VAT for up to 18" alloys AND Add £15 + vat per wheel if tyres are supplied with the wheels.

I got the feeling last time that they didn't want the small retail customer and wanted trade customers with 99" wheels. Also when the guy presented me with the wheels we both spotted a glaring inclusion and he said that if I wasn't happy they could redo it. Why allow such poor quality in the first place?

Lepsons had a change of ownership a while back now.

They used to be cheapish and good quality, I used them a few times but not for about 5 or 6 years now.

I've recently used Body and Wheels in Westgate, who are pretty good, but they're not particularly cheap.

Off the back of this thread, I had my wife's BMW compact wheels refurbished in Sittingbourne. Quick turn around, dropped off Monday and ready for collection first thing Friday morning.

Once refurbed, Rob, the manager, also fitted a new tyre which I had ready to go on.
Great service IMO

I used Lepsons back in 2016. Never again. Terrible finish and I couldn't understand how it passed any QC. They did offer to finish the other 3 wheels of my car to the same crap standard so they would match. Absolute cowboys. I got my money back but they were very unpleasant to deal with.

That’s not the first time that I have heard similar.

I haven’t refurbed any wheel since 2013: and they were still good at that point.

I use Fusion Wheels in Swanley village.
Last time I was there I was charged £70 a corner wheels are 19x275 and 19x245.
