Just buying our first house, and was after some recommendations for conveyancing solicitors in the Medway towns or Maidstone area?

I am in exactly the same position as you and am using Gill turner tucker in Maidstone, come recommended by a friend and after telling our mortgage advisor who our solicitors were he said its a good choice and he used to work for them.

Thanks for the reply, we have been recommended a firm in Gillingham by our mortgage man, so we'll see how they go!

I used brachers in Maidstone a couple of months ago for a purchase and was pretty happy with them and seamed reasonably priced.

Fidler & Pepper - online conveyancers. Used them many times and they are very efficient and thorough.

Where are you looking to move to? smile We just bought our first place in Maidstone but we used a solicitor based in Wales! She was actually very good and the Welsh accent was nice and calming on the phone.

Don't use a firm that sounds a bit like Shartin Molehurst recommended by a certain particularly unpleasant estate agency. Bunch of idiots, lost a house because of their lies and deception.

I'm not moving far, about 10 mins down the road in Gillingham, my fiance will be moving from Maidstone. Everything seems to be going okay at the moment with our chosen solicitor, hopefully it will continue that way!
