For my brother's 12 and 13 sons.

Both are sporty, the younger one very much so.

Both are bright. The older one is a bit sensitive and shy, so probably wouldn't suit a boisterous school.

Any suggestions please?

If Tonbridge is too expensive then try Skinners. It's also very good and it's free.

Well, you didn’t specify a term budget... I was just giving you one of the best options in the area biggrin

You could bring the spend down slightly with Sackville school, just up the road from Tonbridge, but Tonbridge schools sports facilities are second to none in the area

Two opposites there I think. I believe one of them applied to Skinners and didn't get in.

Opposites? Skinners is an excellent school.

The only better (free) one for boys is Judd.

Beechwood Sacred Heart seems really nice, I do a bit of work there sometimes.

I meant in terms of cost. But, as I said earlier, I think one of the children tried and failed to get into Skinners.

ok, fair enough then. Judd is even harder to get into than Skinners.

For Independent schools: Tonbridge or Sevenoaks are both excellent. For grammars you have Judd, Skinners, St Olave's all not too far away. I'm an Old Juddian myself so I'm biased, but I loved my time at Judd and it would be worth trying to get into the 6th form there if they've missed out at year 7.

If you want to go fee paying - Beechwood, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Bethany

Depending on where you live Cranbrook is good - state but with borders

All the state schools in Tunbridge Wells rate Good / Outstanding in terms of Ofsted

Judd's alright, nice facilities but plays second fiddle to Skinners wink
