Paint - North Essex/Chelmsford

Can anyone recommend a good but reasonably-priced paint shop for getting a car door sprayed following some very slight corrosion and subsequent lifted paint?

I'm near Great Dunmow but happy to travel if it's cost-effective and the company do good work.

Essex Autospray M11 Link Estate Stortford. Superb, not expensive and really care. Paul is the proprietor. I have all my work done there.

Just to close the loop on this one, I tried Brewsters and they did a very good job at a very reasonable price. They were helpful and easy to deal with too, so happy to recommend them.

No way. They are terrible and rush jobs because they are an insurance outfit. Had my M3 in for a bonnet respray and the result was poor. Returned 3 times for them to fix their substandard work but issues still remain. Lots of excuses and tried blaming me for their shoddy work. I had a quality restoration company take a look and they spotted numerous issues very quickly which they put down to rushed preparation and baking the lacquer incorrectly.


If you want an insurance job and not bothered about a factory finish go to Kraftwork.


If you want a quality job go somewhere else.
