Bit of imaginative metalwork
Discussion
Evening all...
Wondering if there's a creative welder or similar, who might be able to help out...
Randomly the aluminium facia down the side running boards has come away on the RR Sport... It's only an old one and the cost of new running boards would probably be more than the car so given all the bits are intact, I figured a creative metal-type might be able just to do something clever and stick it back together!?
So... any thoughts for someone in the Borough Green or Sevenoaks area...? Thought it would be worth an ask!

In the absence of any other help, I'll suggest these guys, miles from you in Basildon but they are excellent:

Only just seen this. But I've used Steve Fellows in Swanley Village for all my welding during my GD T70 build aluminium and steel and been very happy with the results. He is only there part time so best to phone first. Will forward his phone number if you're interested

Really sorry forgot to look to see if you wanted the info any how his number is 01322 663000 or 07788176028 you may need to try more than once to get reply as he doesn't always hear the phone.
Also it's not the easiest place to find entrance is 3-4 doors down from the Red Lion in Swanley Village and once you enter the little trading estate he is straight ahead with all the on going projects outside not the fabricator on the left they appear to do heavier stuff.
Hope that helps tell him Phil building the T70 recommended him
