classic car show - Henham village fete, Sunday 1st May
Discussion
If any Essex PH'rs who own a classic are looking for a run out this coming Sunday, I'm involved
in helping to put together a small gathering of classic cars (+ the odd classic bike) at our
annual village fete in Henham (near Stansted airport)
we usually get around 20-30 cars depending on weather, and previous years have seen everything from
austin sevens to TVR's, Astons, and even the odd Lambo.
if you are interested then ping me a PM - fete starts at 1pm and cars come and go all afternoon.
many thanks - Tb

Do you get Jason Barlow to dig out something interesting for the fete? I'm out that day, otherwise I'd happily bring something along.
Jason does usually manage to 'snaffle' something interesting to bring along (I seem to remember a murcialago, aston rapide, and very nice Merc SLS in the past...)also his f355 or W123 sometimes make an appearance :-)we are always grateful for owners to turn up in anything special or classic, so if you have something your welcome to join in the fun

Might fester over there myself I hear the hooch is good
As well as helping to organise the car show, my other claim to fame is being one of the founder members of 'Cider Club' (bunch of local guys who make/brew some very potent home-made cider in the village) - I will be manning the Cider Club stand on the day so wander over and say helloRegards - Tb

Well. It was great to carve out a bit of time to give the Harley a run out, sample the cider and meet some very friendly people. Thanks yo Jon and Dan. See you next year and I'll bring a couple of cars down
Many thanks for coming along, It was a great day with a very eclectic mix of cars (and bikes :-) ) glad you enjoyed the fruits of Cider Club as well. I will try and post some pics later.Gassing Station | Kent & Essex | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
