Looking at the Kent and Essex forum, I saw that the last post was on 20-Nov and I didn't want to let our forum go a whole month with no action so I thought that I'd write this pointless post.

It has gone rather quiet. That time of year I guess. Either that or everyones still queue to get out of Lakeside / Bluewater and stuck in their cars.

Can't wait until the weather picks up and there's grip again. Constantly lighting up the rears trying to overtake on the A128 is getting boring. And as for the freezing fog down the A21 last weekend

Just joined, I'm in Sittingbourne...

Great cars both of you.

Why is this region so quiet? any events being organised?

Keep an eye on the Events forum - we've had a couple of get togethers around Bromley recently.

More to come in the new year Im sure.

Roads are awful around Essex way, even got up at 7am on boxing day for a quick blast and was greeted by quite a few cars creeping around in their own little worlds....apart from the fact it was -4 degrees and no grip what-so-ever.....now they are full of the sales bargain traffic, so iam staying in on the computer!!

Same in Kent. I went for a quick spin on Monday and got caught up in the traffic heading for Bluewater. However, drove into work this morning and it was totally clear. I normally come in on the train which is an hour door-to-door but this morning it was a half hour drive.
