custom exhaust for 5.3 v12 ?
Discussion
Im just finishing off a project and I wanted to know if anyone can recommend any good places to get a complete custom exhausts system made up for a daimler double six ?
I have seen a few places stock the manifolds and they can complete the rest of the system with ease but I am curios to see if anyone has got any pictures or videos of any custom systems for series 3 jags?
Any pointers or advice would be great!
Kind regards
Jon

I have heard very good things but have yet to see or hear one on either on a series v12?
Do you know of anyone who has got pics or vids to share?
Thanks
Can try www.jdclassics.co.uk they sometimes have very tricked up V!2 Jag saloons. You might even find the odd Silk-Cut Racer in there!Do you know of anyone who has got pics or vids to share?

I was filling up one day when I got talking cars to a chap at the next pump and noticed the somewhat lafger wheels and brakes fitted to his series 3.He'd just picked it up from JD,6.5 litre V12,well over 500BHP and 100K's worth of series 3!

Expect a price tag with at least one extra 0 on it from JD classics tho. My dad spent a fair few £££ having a refresh on his C type rep.

Had Hayward & Scott build a twin 3" diameter system from the headers back with 'X' pipe on my C3 489 cu in Vette. Like all systems with absorbsion tube mufflers they sound better after a few thousand miles or so. Now is the time to think carefully about how you want it to sound, and do you want them to fabricate headers 'cos it will all cost a fair few quid and will be on the car for a long while!
A bit oily underneath - another story.
Just after install 3 years ago - a bit noisier now!

I've heard good things about ZeroExhausts in/near Ashford. I've used the guy for having pipes bent to drawings and supplied, but not used him for a complete system.
Ive used Kevin at Zero Exhausts to build a complete system on my previous car (Evo) and he was excellent. I am contemplating a new system for my Gallardo Superleggera and will use him again to do it. Highly recommended.Gassing Station | Kent & Essex | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
