Its worse in Teston! Idiots falling out of their cars to take pics abandoning cars left right and centre (I walked to take this pic!)

The bridge on Christmas Eve. It went completely under on Christmas day and some idiot though their polo would get past.

Wateringbury Maria is totally buggered. Haven't ventured to Yalding yet.

Went to Yalding at work on xmas eve, evacuating homes and it was pretty bad - its since got worse. Feel for those involved.

Out of interest did the former Renault dealership flood next to B&Q?

I know the owners of the house behind that pub. They do have a flood defence system installed but that looks way higher than what it can cope with.

That's my old place. The basement will have flooded but the ground floor showroom was ok. Unlike the last time it was bad and the cars in there had to be moved upstairs.

The wife and I were talking about that today as we drove past.

I mentioned you'd have to work that into your designs.
Glad it finally got planning. Despite the people living in the flats next door at taxpayer's expense complaining.

Fulford is a friend of mine. I worked for him, his brother and family from 2000 to 2009.

Ah right, small world. Only had complaints from 2 of the neighbours, both of whom own their flats.

I suspect my project Manager has worked some serious soakaways into our scheme. Should be open the middle of 2014

If it's the white house right behind the pub in that pic then I'm sorry it's flooded. If it's the newer houses on the main road the water didn't get as high.

Here is a better one from the bridge. Sorry these are from my phone. Haven't been able to plug the camera in to get better ones.

Glad to hear it.

He's a PH'er if you didn't know.

He's currently looking at one of our sites for his business as he's sold one of his.

I wasn't aware he's a Pistonheader, I never met him and didn't deal direct. The vendor did very well out of the sale though

Yeah that's the one, that doesn't look good at all. Will have to give them a call in the morning.
