Hi

Has anyone in the South Essex area got a torque wrench that goes over 110lbs foot and long bar that I could borrow please? Need to get the wheel nuts and wheel off of the back of my car, but they won't budge with my dads torque wrench frown

I have a breaker bar and a torque wrench that will work. If you want to pop up to the stansted area we can have a go at removing the wheel. I'll be about most of saturday.

You don't use torque wrench to undo something!

You need a good quality socket, a T bar and a length of tubing.

Thanks for your offer of help Stewart. It's not need now though, as a friend mine who I didn't expect to be about was able to help me this evening and we managed to undo the wheel nuts. Thanks again though for your kind offer.

Yes you are right John. My friend told me that as well. We only used a torque wrench at the time, as we couldn't loosen the nuts off with the tool (I can't think of the proper name of it) that you use which comes with jack under the spare wheel. Also we had nothing else available.

Not sure where you are based Nut but I have access to a HGV workshop at weekends in Althorne.

Full sized pit, air tools etc.
