Anyone got an engine hoist?

Evening all,

In Jan/Feb I'm working on a winter project which will mean engine/gearbox out - anyone got an engine hoist I could borrow?

Will need it for a weekend and will be happy to pick up / drop back. Happy to provide ID and leave you a deposit so that you are not lending stuff to a random internet bod you don't know who isn't going to come back..

Of course would make it worth your while with beer tokens/donation to a charity of your choice.

Not worth me buying one for a single job. I'll hire one if need be - just wondering if a fellow-PHer has one sitting in the corner of their garage

Yes I do, it's currently with a friend who was going to whip the engine and box out to drop a new box in in a weekend. I think he's had it since July...

I will give him a hurry up and all being well he'll be done before you need it.
