Hi gang, I know it's a bit last minute but I assumed someone else would have mentioned it.

Tomorrow (Sat 16th) Dreamland in Margate is opening its gates for some care in the community action big society stuff which may be of interest to some (talking about whats happening with the future of the park and design waffle).

The main event for me however is a big collection of classic cars and bikes (around 100 confirmed so far)

Doors open at 12pm or if you're in a classic you can set up in the "top event area" from 11.15am (you get free parking too)

Well worth a nose round if you're in the area

See you there

(spotted might be interesting tomorrow night)

Yeah it wasn't very well advertised, I only found out at the last minute and I'm in the club that organised it.

I've put some pics up in spotted, I might put an album together and link it so as not to kill PH

I was at this and there were some lovely cars on show. We were directed into the classics show-parking in my filthy, scruffy, Turquoise 1990s XJ6, which was a touch embarrassing.....

The red Capri was the shiniest car I've ever seen and the Morris Minor with the supercharged Rover V8 was pretty awesome.

I was parked a row in and about 6 cars down from you in the 164.

That Capri was very shiny, as was the Vitesse I was next to which made me all the more uncomfortable.

The car of the day for me was the mental Aston that looked like it had rolled straight out of hell

Yep, remember the 164 - very nice.

Was that a 'real' Aston? It had BMW wheels and seats out of another car? Definitely an Aston engine in it and looked to be turbocharged, too.

It had Alfa seats.

I'm pretty sure it was legit, I've never seen a Vantage kit car before.

I think it was a Rotrex supercharger on it
