Does anyone know what is happening at Walldonway in Aylesford? They are selling a lot of spares for all the marques they supported, on ebay. It looks like they are closing down, I do hope not; they are a great bunch of guys, really helpful.

They're shut. Been on the cards for a while.

Go to their website and look for used car stock.

Shame to hear that. It was the first place I ever got to sit in a TVR and I remember my dad test driving a bright yellow Cerbera from there probably around 1997. I desperately tried to convince him it to buy it but he ended up getting a Rover 200 Coupe instead!

That would have been when I was there. Although it would have been WLA back then as that was just before Cliff bought the business from Bob.

I think Cliff has just decided to retire.

Sticks.

Shame, that. I bought my S2 there in Jan 91 when it was WLA.

Last time I was there a few weeks ago there was a couple of random cars on the forecourt, a couple of new Ssangyongs and possibly a Great Wall pickup truck. I think Cliff is retiring and his nephew, Tony who was the sales manager, has set up a new classic car business in Parkwood, Maidstone: http://www.charmansautomotive.co.uk/
