Just looked at those pictures. yikes

Problem is it doesn't surprise me as so many people drive like s and are even worse in bad weather. I'm sure we have all slowed down on the motorway when we hit fog yet loads of drivers, who just generally seem unaware of their surroundings, carry on at 70, 80, 90 or more regardless. Listening to music, chatting on phones, drinking coffee as if they are sitting in an armchair at home.

Unbelievable. Unfortunately, some of the driving I have seen in fog over the years is simply jaw dropping. I dont think there are any fatalities so thats some good news.

8 people seriously injured and 60 others with injuries.

Complete madness.

The M20 was also shut junctions 1-3 after a van hit the back of a lorry.

Reports are quoting witnesses as saying people were still speeding and had no lights on at all, can't say I'm suprised.

I went through there about 40mins before the accident and very thick fog 25 yards visibility and a fair few cars with no lights or fog lights on. Problem is if the first incident was on the other side of the bridge you cannot see anything until you are over the brow and then its to late.
