BEST.....TRACKDAY.....EVER! Brands Hatch (with pics & video)

I've done lots of track days in my time, although lately not so many But last week, I had my best ever track day

Mine was the only Lotus there, but what an amazing collection of cars.

The Pagani Zonda F is beautiful. A real work of art. Even the pedals were like a sculpture. Mind you, at £500,000 it ought to be.

The F1 Heron was a little beauty and I had a fantastic chase and play with it round Brands for 3-4 laps. The F1 Benetton was rather too quick for the Lotus to keep up with, but I tried.....as it vanished into the distance

The Lotus was simply awesome ..... I just love it And so much fun, as usual

A quick edit using just the footage from 1 camera - my front GoPro. I will have better footage, using the rear GoPro footage edited in too, but that will be some weeks yet.

Very nice! Watched some of that video - surprised you managed to skin the Zonda! Is the Exige R that quick or was the other driver just taking it easy?

Need to get myself a track car, think if I took my car on there it'd be in the barrier on the first corner, haha!

That was TT9's Zonda that was at the Warren Classic recently.

I was gutted that I could not fit in the drivers seat when he offered.

Amputation booked for next week!!

He was pushing it, and had in fact had a race driver give him instruction for a full day, 3 days beforehand at the same track.

The Exige R is "that quick" No road car could stay with it.

Nice track tool ! although the Ferraris may be a bit more suited for the runs down to Marseille.

I did my ARDS there that afternoon (and passed!) Getting skinned in the RCZ by the Zonda was a highlight for me!

Didn't see the F1 car though, was that in the morning?

The F1 cars only did 2 sessions. One around 12:00 and one at 13:30 if I recollect. Very cool....and LOUD

A very brief video from 2012. Car had softer springs and harder damping then. It handles better now.
