Tap and die 32mm - Anybody have one near southend?

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anybody local to Southend had a 32mm tap and die set? We need to re-thread the outer part of our SW20 driveshaft and seems senseless to buy one for this little job.

payment will be in beer tokens and copious amounts of gratitude!

Is 32mm the thread diameter, or the distance across the flats of the nut?

32 is a rather big thread for a driveshaft and the only place that would have one would be GAZ shocks, as I think that's the diameter of the shock tubes.

If is the nut size then the thread is more likely 20-22mm.

Hi Hol, thanks for the response.

It is actually a 32mm nut so I'm not sure which size thread this requires. Its for a stock Rev 3 MR2 driveshaft.
