I’m writing this post after recently speaking to Essex County Council, some of you locals may or may not know that every year The Essex County Car & Motorcycle Show takes place at Cressing Temple.

I’ve been before back in 2011 and although it was a good little event I always felt it could do with a bit of zest’ing up, PistonHeads style!!!

After speaking to the events team at the County Council they have confirmed that Pistonheads can have a pitch for ten cars, it will be on a first come first served basis and I will organise a little meeting place beforehand so we can all arrive at the same time.

I know it is always a little daunting meeting new people but please don’t faff about, get your names down on the list and your pride and joy out of the garage. I also realise it is also Goodwood weekend, I will be at the Festival on Saturday but just thought I'd mention it for anybody who has already commited to going on Sunday.

After having a chat with Rich (moleCSL) this evening (2nd July) we've decided to organise a little convoy to Cressing Temple Barns on Sunday 14th July, we realise that this event is going to be a static display and therefore its a must to cater for those with twitchy right feet.

So, for those who fancy a run out beforehand we are going to meet at Bosworth's Tea Room's - Finchingfield at 9am for breakfast, I can also vouch that the "Full English" at £8 is superb. Usually this is a popular spot for bikers so it would be superb to upset the Crotch Rocket brigade and have a selection of tasty four wheeled machinery outside for a change.

Those wanting to meet at 9am for breakfast do let me know and I will ensure we have enough table room, please see the address of the tea rooms below:

I will come along. Sold the Tuscan but i have just bought a CLK 63 AMG which has undergone engine and exhaust mods. I should have it back next week as i had a new interior designed and this is being done as we speak. Desperate to get her out and about.

For those who would like a little blast into Cresssing Temple both Mole and I will be organising a little meeting point and a convoy into the event.

I am going to need to wrap this up within the next few days (next Monday) as I need to get all the machinery registered and passes out to people not wishing to convoy.
