Hello all,
This summer, Maistone and Mid Kent Motor club are organising a series of grass autotests at Headcorn Airfield.
These will happen on Wednesday evenings, roughly every fortnight: 22 May (today), 5th & 19th June, 3rd, 17th & 31st July, 21st August. Signing on happens from about 6pm will the first runs starting about 6:45pm.

The field is nice and smooth and being on grass the wear on tyres/brakes/clutch is minimal. Anything can be used really, there are varied classes and as the event takes place on private land there is no requirement for tax, insurance or MOT.

Anyone is welcome to come down, spectate and see whats going on (as you get near the airfield look for the orange arrows), if you want to give it a go yourself membership to the club costs £15 for the year http://www.mmkmc.co.uk/documents/2013/documents/Me...
after that an Autotest event costs £13 for an evenings fun.... what are you waiting for

Hi James, sorry for the delay Le Mans got in the way!The grass is pretty smooth but a lowered chimaera may struggle, my advice is come down, have a watch and see what you think.
next event at Brands is thursday 27th (tomorrow) and at Headcorn wednesday 3rd July.
