Commuting on the M25

Thought this forum would be as good a place to ask as any...

I need to be in Watford/Bushey for a few days next week and might be able to stay with family/friends near Basildon. How long is it likely to take me to commute round the M25 J29 to J22 or J21A? Am I mental for even considering it, or is it do-able in an hour or so? Google maps is showing it as about 40-45 miles. I'd be aiming to be on the road at around half 6.

I travel J29 - J20 daily, you will catch the back of the roadwork Q around J26 then into the roadworks at J25, on average it takes me 1Hr 50mins to do the route, before the roadworks it was 40ish mins.
