West Kent Static display 22nd June
Discussion
Guys - This year I have been roped into helping organise our village fete in Speldhurst, which is near Tunbridge Wells.
One of the things we normally have at the fete is a display of classic and interesting cars. In recent years the display has been looking a little sad, so I was hoping we could get a few exotics, a little Pork, or maybe Caterhams, Loti etc down there to get it looking a little more interesting....
So I'm after volunteers who would like to show their car.. We would need you there from around 10.00/10.30. You would be able to leave whenever you wish, but it would be great if the cars could stick around until mid afternoon if poss. The fete closes at 4.00, we just need to ensure cars are not coming and going during the day.
It's just a static display, no prizes are handed out, it's not a concours event, but having said that if we got enough cars there I would run a competition for the favorite car at the fete, with a certificate and little cup or something....
What do you recon...? Anyone up for this..? It is a great family day out, classic village fete, beer tent, lots of food and kids stuff etc.
Please reply to this thread and PM me if you'd like to put your name down - I have put another post up on the "meets" forum, so will try to keep an eye on both to ensure I don't double up...
Cheers - Rich

That is actually the first day of Le Mans so may limit the attendees.
I'm the local Regional Officer for TIPEC so maybe able to round up a few Porsches for the display if you wanted?
Our regions page is here if you want to mail me with this info?

Right guys - I'm just back from a 10 day blast around Europe with a bunch of mates from 911uk. Awesome fun, with lots of genuine hard, ball-out driving through the mountains...
Anyway - I need to get numbers firmed up for next Saturday, 22nd June. Ideally I need you all at the Speldhurst playing field for 11.00am latest - ideally 10.30. We really need cars to stay as long as poss please, hopefully leaving after 3.30 or 4,00. Thats a long day at a fete, but bring some cash and hit the beer tent, should be lots of fun!
Postcode for the venue is TN3 0PP
Could anyone coming please email me to confirm - my email is richard at rdw dot uk dot com.
Cheers - Rich
