Kent Run - 10th December

I'm getting old. I organised my first Kent Run was when I was a boy of 22, with rebellious long hair and a considerably smaller waistline. In early December I'll turn 28, and it's making me all nostalgic. I fancy doing a local run like the old days, therefore I am going for a drive and you are welcome to join me.

Because it's a Monday night I'm not expecting/intending for this to be one of the silly 180+ car runs I used to do. Just a countryside trek for a small group of sensibly-headed enthusiasts, a couple of hours of open roads and starry winter skies.

Of course if it's pissing down we'll postpone it, but all being well I will set off at around 7pm from 'somewhere in Medway,' head into the wilderness via 'somewhere near Maidstone' (where you could opt to start) and return to base after a refreshment stop along the way, sometime approaching 11. I genuinely haven't planned the route we'll take yet because that will depend on the numbers.

Interesting. More initial interest than I anticipated, and at this stage I'd like to retain the option to keep it quite a small affair. For that reason, I'm going to cap this list at 10 cars for the time being while I wait to hear back from people who I've also invited on a private basis.
