LPG system servicing
Discussion
Hi all, hoping someone can help me
I've got a Tartarini LPG tank in my Jeep Wrangler, and it's been buggering up recently. When I say buggering up, I mean stalling when it's least convenient. It started off at roundabouts, junctions etc - whenever I wasn't revving the engine but the last time I was on a single carraigeway doing 50. It's not been on since.
Hasn't come with any documentation, but I can see by some stickers and gumpf on the system itself it was from Autogas 2000 (must have been in there a good while before I got the Jeep last year).
I'm trying to get it serviced or poked at by someone who knows what they're doing and so far all the dealers/installers I've come across in Essex don't do much on the servicing side or they don't have whatever software they need for a Tartarini system.
Called Autogas and asked for some advice, their approved installers seemed quite out of date as many of the numbers listed had since gotten rid of whatever kit was needed for Tartarini - didn't get very far with them either. As they're based in North Yorkshire I didn't fancy the trek up there on petrol without knowing they could help.
Does anyone know somewhere that can take a look at / service LPG?
Don't mind travelling aboot the SE. Heading to Jeepey Jamboree in July in Tong - Autogas are based another hour up the country from there but if I can't find somewhere to get it fixed sooner/closer it may be the only option.

Thanks for the recommendation Silver Surfer
Called your man Andy, he said that it could be a fault with the engine and not the LPG system - to go back and check over everything.
Could be something simple like the gaps in the spark plug are too wide, which I'd hate to find out after an hours drive to Colchester.
When I described the problem he also suggested it could be a vacuum leak on the induction side of the engine - we (Nigel, my man) had found a leak on the air intake beside the main doohicky of the LPG system in the engine and sealed that up a while ago, which seemed to calm it down for a while.
Also confirmed that there is a filter in there somewhere that might be clogged up with crud, some friends had said something about checking a filter but it being a pressurised system and not to arse about with it..
Going to have a look at the basics again and see if it improves, if not I'll give him another call.
