Ta for that, might have a little drive out weather permitting.Well just got back, nice morning 'til the rain came.Loved the aero'd Atom 300(nice talking to you both),I was reminded after all this time what a stunning looking car a DB7 V12 Vantage Convertible is,what an utter work of art that Jag MK10 is, and what a great little car a Racing Puma still is. Would have liked to have spoken to the Ultima owner as it was a really nicely finished example. Thanks also to the Maser guys for the trip out in the 'S'.
Nice pub, nice people, nice cars. look forward to the next one providing my sons football hasn't started by then!

The weather at the Hare was great when I left.... got about 1 mile out and noticed all the roads were soaking, then it got very dark and it absolutely pissed down. I got bsoaked driving through Chelmsford in the traffic. I think I may have passed you on the A130 if you were in the blue Noble I was in the Griff with the roof down trying to maintain a decent speed so I didn't get too wet while trying not to aquaplane in the huge puddles of water.MPoxon said:

Yep that was me, brought back memeories of the two Griffs I had, getting caught in the rain after leaving the Targa panel at home and doing the balancing act you descibed!
LOL - so having owned a Griff you are well versed. I took the roof off this morning and looked the sky, looked at the panel then looked at the boot.... quickly run through in my mind the debarcle of emptying the entire boot to stow the panel. "Ahh f-it it'll be aright" I thought to my self so targa panel was left at home. Met office says sun with light showers.... what is the worst that can happen. I didn't quite foresee the torrential downpour that ensued
Hope to see you at the next meet
