Sunday Service - Kent Convoy?

Hey all,
Anyone from Kent fancy a convoy run down next week?

Have never done a Kent run, but the last SS with south coasters was a great laugh and am always up for meeting new PHers!

Hi Poko,

I would be up for a convoy to SS. I see you're in the Folkestone area- so if you're leaving from here could I suggest meeting at Stop 24 to get V powered up as I'm only a few miles from the start of the M20?

Alright Vince- I assume we will be going M20/M26/M25.......So Clacket Lane services any good mate??

Hmmm that does sound quiet interesting mate,especially with the weather the way it is...although my cars getting pampered on Friday up JRM with a final polish and to tidy up the rest of the paintwork...so as long as I'm not behind a rwd/4x4 car I should be okay

Yeah that sounds alright mate....and that's the first round of breakfast sorted lol

Really want to be there for 9am sharp though so I can get booked in for a ride in an AMG as early as possible and then it's a dash back round the M25 to KDS

Yup, I'm up for this! What time to meet? My OH is also driving in her Twingo RS so thats a +1 to the convoy..

Any plan on route that will take 2 hours from Sevenoaks to Merc world?!

Well to meet winshent we could meet at shell around 5.30 to leave for 5.40 if that's alright with you and the OH? You are both on the 600 list it take it? And will you be in the mx5?

Yup, we're both on the list and yup I'll be in the MX5 (Which I'm told kicks up a lot of stones.. So might not be best to follow me!)

5.30 () will be fine, but will it really take 3 hours to get to Surrey?!
All the more time for a good spirited drive I guess! :P

Yeah - I reckon Hastings is an hour from the golden arches at Sevenoaks, so I'll meet you up there.

I used to live (almost) next door to MBW, so can tell you its 30 minutes away on a hoon, 45 minutes even taking into account the damned roadworks sticking to the limit.

Instead of a boring convoy, i've put together a little run along some delicious B roads.. Hence my post of a spirited drive..

If you guys just want to literally convoy along the motorway then there isnt much point in meeting up so early..

Im still up for the spirted drive mate but I'm not fussed if the majority would rather convoy along the motorways.

Earlier the start = cooler air for the inductions and a lot less traffic (need to avoid those Sunday drivers! Lol)
