A12 closed now

A12 closed between Brentwood and Margreeting north and south. Long queues both ways.

Someone apparently has been spotted with concrete blocks on a bridge so they have closed it as a precaution after what happened the other day

Not sure. I had a call out at Ipswich. Was some blues rushing southbound when I was going. Coming back it was standstill back to the Chelmsford/Margreeting jct. I cut down the old A12 though Ingatesone and rejoined on to an empty A12.
Police were sending everyone going northbound off at the Brentwod jct.

Looks like your right. I arrived Ipswich just before eight, so the timings are right. It was raining really heavy there at the time too.

They should throw them over the bridge, and then their blocks.

It's going to keep happening IMHO 'till the perpatrator gets caught. There have been something like 30 cases in the last 3 years around here, so someone's going to get killed soon. Last Thursday's was close, and I passed under that bridge 60 mins before
